Video SpyingThere are all kinds of spy cameras. You need to first ask yourself what video evidence you are wanting. and under what circumstances. Each camera has it's own benefits. Tiny hidden spy cameras are usually CMOS which are ok in normal light conditions, while a CCD camera is better for low light conditions. CCD cameras are 12volts so they could be fitted into a vehicle very easily. Be careful with so called night cameras as these use LED lighting. which is not usually seen however in very dark conditions a glow can be seen. If you are need covert low light recording use a CCD B+W camera.Remember a camera will only allow you to view. To record you will need a DVR (digital video recorder) These are available in two types. Standalone and PC based. A standalone DVR is great for long term monitoring while a PC based DVR will offer more functions and the ability to burn a DVD disc very easily. |
